This is an image captured by me from the third floor on the CAC building on Campus. I believe I took this picture about two weeks ago or so. As I was heading to the elevator to evacuate the building, I came across this beautiful sunset. It was so breathtaking that I could not help but take a picture of it and take some selfies and have a golden hour moment. I admit this particular image got me thinking about the moment in life I am in now. It's crazy that at the moment I was on campus (arts campus for more specificity), surrounded by this gorgeous sky, and doing what I love most. Yes I may be exhausted, worn out, and stressed but I'm doing what I love. It's these little moments that allow me to appreciate my efforts and acknowledge my passion for what I'm doing. I have the amazing opportunity to wake up everyday and be a student absoring the most I can to become a professional in the different points of study I have taken up. Like wow! I'm doing what I'm most passionate about right now. This image captures a moment of appreciation and passion that help me celebrate all I've done at my short time here at UCI.
With that the colors of this image are just immaculate. It was one of the prettiest sunsets I have experience here. The contrasting colors blue and orange created a cool effect on the sky. I also love seeing the couple beams of light escaping the focus of the camera creating a very laidback feel to the sky. I loved how the black silhouette of the trees created really nice levels to the height of the sky. Its interesting to me how intense, the natural orange light was able to light the clouds and make a change in what I saw. The sun almost looks like fire. Not to mention the speed at which this sunset went down was quick. Capturing a moment like this can be a bit overwhelming making sure that you get the sun in the right position. Even that shows the amount of passion I have to be where I am, doing what I'm passionate about.
Beautiful photo and great summation of your passion and loved the appreciation of where we are, as it is hard to see sometimes when we are too busy. Nice post!
